* Search for files: You can use the fastsearch option to find files either by the application they came from, or the project the file is in. To enable this option just click on the cbox in the left panel.

ame\*.{doc,xsd,txt,src}”

INSTALLATION
1. To install FastOpen, open the plug-in’s menu from within the Tools |
Plug-ins menu in jEdit. If the plug-in is not found, try changing the
order of places you are searching.
2. Click Install Plug-in.
3. Continue with the on-screen prompts to proceed with the
installation.
CONFIGURATION
1. When the application is first installed, a preferences dialog should
be displayed. If not, reload the plug-in’s preferences, or make sure
the Preferences plug-in is correctly installed.
2. FastOpen options can be changed by double-clicking on the
preferences dialog or selecting Preferences from the
FastOpen | Preferences menu.
3. Save your preferences using the Save button. You can also
quickly locate the preferences directory by selecting
Open last used preferences from the Preferences menu
(click the dir icon to see a list of available locations).
4. Double-click the Search button or press +S
to perform a file search (and look for the
SearchDialog dialog to appear).
5. Select your type of search (for example “txt” for
text files).
6. Enter your search term. Type the start of the
search term by pressing +F to search
