Step 1: Open Photoshop Elements

Open Photoshop Elements. If it isn’t already open, it should be in the MacOS dock at the bottom of the screen.

If it is open, you can also open Photoshop in the Applications folder, if you have Photoshop installed in Applications.

Step 2: Open Image

In Photoshop, choose Image > Open.

Photoshop Elements opens a new empty image.

Step 3: Choose Fill, Modify

Choose Fill, Modify from the Image menu, or press ⌘F (command F).

Open the Fill menu.

Choose a Color.

The RGB color wheel opens with all the colors visible. Choose a color that matches the image you want to fill.

Click the eyedropper tool in the Options bar, and click the color on the image.

Click the Modify button in the Options bar, or press Alt+C (Option+command C) to open the color panel.

Choose a color from the Color panel, either by clicking on the color or by choosing a color from the color wheel and clicking inside the color panel.
